There's more than one team in that game...but yes, even with that game.

The teleconference will begin shortly following the conclusion of the 2:00 p.m. game on Saturday. The tabulations are announced, and posted, usually within a hour. 8)

Not sure if the outcome of the DM-Hibbing game would even matter for seeding. Breck, Herm (assuming they win), TRF, and the STA-TG winner would very likely be the top 4 seeds. If TG upsets STA I think that would put them ahead of DM even though DM beat them earlier in the season. Lourdes, Little Falls, 3A winner, and Hibbing if they win would in no way be seeded.

I would agree, but where the Hibbing coach or the DM coach vote to seed them could mean the difference between #2 and #4 for teams like Breck, TRF, or TG (if they somehow get past STA).

That's how I see the "random draw" playing out...possibly hermantown/new ulm and sta/lf.

Random draw my arse

Post by bobforhockey »

Yep, nothing random about it....seen it just happen to work out in hockey and boys' soccer too many times for it to be "random"

Probably not ultimately that big a deal this year as the top three are pretty dominent and then there is everyone else

TRF beat Duluth Marshall 4-2 fairly recently, so I would expect them to get the 4 seed.

Dang thief river got it easy Lourdes got screwed over I thought they were fifth or sixth best team, still don't understand why they don't rank all 8 teams

Wow, THAT is pretty darn random!!

TRF gets the "8 seed"
STA gets the "7 seed"
Hermantown get the "6 seed"
Breck gets the "5 seed"

Don't like the "random" draw but at least it looks like they followed the rules for once. 8)
