Was this as political as people said it was going to be or did the best kids make it? I see a lot of kids that were listed as top Bantam players in another thread.

D6 Political?

Never. One name on the list should answer your question. EHA couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it, why would D6?

Can someone help me understand the birthdate cutoff dates for this?

Let's say you are a 97 but birthday in November wouldn't you be eligible for this after next winters season?

I think it is Jan 1.

The Advanced process is all birthyear.

15s are 97s
16s are 96s
17s are 95s

It does mean the players come from different levels which can be difficult for some of the after July 1s.

On average how many post July kids make the advance teams? I assume with D6 that most of them are all kids moving to HS next year if not already playing HS?

If that comment was directed at me, nope, I have a peewee and he is a December 99, obviously a little young for 97s. I am just looking to see if any other young kids had a shot this year.

I believe the D6 team is political. I also believe some players that got cut from D6 are better then some players that made the D6 team. Just my opinion.
