Good banter! Hopefully the games between the '02's can live up to the current anxiety levels of some of the parents. I don't think it really matters though because it is a foregone conclusion that the Orange will kill the blades because they are so much stronger, faster and overall more athletic. Plus, they have Mr. McBain and first Athlete. Blades should stay at home. Who cares about the win in Chicago. The 4-1 Blades victory means nothing. Just a reminder it is always sunny in Philadelphia!!

I don't have an 02 kid, I got a HS'er, a pee wee and a mite, but I have a lot of friends and nephews sprinkled throughout each level and at the 02 level...and I keep hearing that you are the point man in trying to recruit Machine kids in-season for the Brick. It's one thing to rev up the cell after the Caribou, but it ain't cool to be "networking" in-season. Obviously, no one knows this with 100% certainty except you and whomever you speak with, but when their is smoke, there is usually fire. Rumors usually have some basis in truth.
I do wish you guys the best of luck in Edmonton. I want to see the boys have more success up there than they have been having. My only question is what is up with that European Jakub kid that was on your roster for the tourney for less than 24 hours before being taken off the website on NAHC? I want to see you guys do well, I just wish you'd stick to a MN roster and not hear these nasty rumors about recruitment.

Perhaps your nephews or any other 10 year old should give you the realities of in-season “recruiting.” 99% of in-season calls are made by a parent shopping (insert alternate word here) his kid for next year. Dad thinks Johnny Lunch Bucket is the best kid on the team and they are in some way being wronged by “The Man.” Name your reason, but parents are the main source of rumors and drama. I can’t blame Karl (if that’s his real name) for following up.
The ultimate reality is that a disgruntled parent shopping a kid mid year is usually not the element that Dexheimer or any other coach is looking to add to the roster. I suspect they’ve learned the hard way with these sorts of “recruits" in the past.
Best of luck to Team MN in Edmonton. They may not be an early favorite to dominate at the mall, but the team has all the elements (size, speed, skill and solid coaching) to make some serious noise and compete at a level unfamiliar to the Blades in recent years.

FYI on the NAHC rosters...
the tournament takes single player registrations for those that play on other Elite level teams that are not participating in the tournament. Those single entries will be fit onto teams in the tournament.
sometimes there are complete "pick up" teams if there are enough single registrations.

What happened to your little Orange man? He's not on the final Edmonton roster. I guess you'll just keep on with the Orange despite your very low regard for them. Point, set, match.........checkmate.Irisheyes02 wrote:Roster u r looking at is not The Edmonton roster. I know very covert but true. Spehar33, hope you are having a great day today. Smile..
