STA/EP have 16 combined. Those 2 schools have 8 more than the other 17 schools combined.....I just find that interesting. They cant find (1) player from Zata, Woodbury, Eastridge, Roseville, Chaska, Champlin, L. North..??
It is fascinating, though when you look through at the lists of returning players, it becomes fairly clear why some of these teams don't have anyone. Take Wayzata, for example...I know I also said it was crazy that a program that deep doesn't have anyone, but their highest-scoring returning player had all of 9 points last year. Some teams (ex. Roseville) lost practically everything off last year's team, others (ex. Elk River, which actually has 2 skaters, Burnsville) are going to be talented but pretty young.
The Woodbury situation is definitely surprising; this year's senior class won the Bantam state championship a few years back. I know Jake Guentzel was on that team, but still. East Ridge has a pretty deep senior class, but no real standouts.
Another program you could add to this list is Andover--almost certainly a top-10 team this year, and their only rep is a goalie. Granted, the team's strength will be its depth, not its star power, but I expected at least one player to slip in.
