The few thousand dollars of yours probably can cover the ice fee, but may not be enough cover your out of town and Canadian trips.Irish wrote:Edgeless,edgeless2 wrote:thespellchecker wrote: team combat (nats ) vs machine in chip
Well if they can't win a local tourney, how will they do in Toronto, Chicago, Winnepeg, Detroit??? Still wondering about the missing posts? Maybe the mental strength coaches will put them over the top!
Personally I'm leaning towards the speech and communication tudors. But the NHL advisors are what sold me on this program. Do you know if beyond the pond has a website? When are tryouts?
I have a few thousand dollars I want to burn. I was thinking why not play for this team. Get a huge advantage by playing tournaments in Toronto, Chicago, Winnipeg, and Detroit. DI here we come.
Is it really worth your money to have your kid playing in a 4-5 game tournament in Canada at the youth age? Brick as an example. People talks about "the experience", really?
Never been to the brick, probably will never go.... that being said is it really worth a few thousand dollars to take a kid that age to DisneyWorld? I mean people talk about the experience, but really???? My semi-sarcastic point is obviously that the experience and whether or not something is worth something or not is totally in the eye of the beholder and I don't think it's for us to judge one way or another. Personally I love that our world has choices and people have the freedom to make those choicesMnhockeys wrote:The few thousand dollars of yours probably can cover the ice fee, but may not be enough cover your out of town and Canadian trips.Irish wrote:Edgeless,edgeless2 wrote:

Agreed! To each his own. Right? Who in their right mind would turn down an opportunity to play for a program that has Speech and Communication Tudors? Or NHL advisors? Nutrition specialist? What's a few thousand dollars? This is for the kids. Let the fun begin. I cannot wait to see how Team Combat does in the Easton Cup Invite. I for one have high expectations for this new program.Irish wrote:Edgeless,edgeless2 wrote:thespellchecker wrote: team combat (nats ) vs machine in chip

Nothing wrong with Team Combat. I agree! Choices are good.old goalie85 wrote:What is the problem w/Team Combat ?? I think it is a good thing that kids/parents have another choice. Two or three years every assc. will have a summer/AAA program @ the local rink. There will be Open/Invite/Elite/Super elite.

Pool A:
Miracle Gold
Velocity
Euro American Red
Rapid Fire
Bauer Vapor
**Euro, Rapid Fire, and Miracle should all be strong**
Pool B:
Legacy
Machine Orange
Ice Edge Black
Northern Wings
Ice Clams
**Orange should roll. Legacy supposedly pulling in several players for this tournament, so maybe they give them a run**
03
Aspen Avalanche
Blades
Miracle Gold
Machine Orange
**First time that the 3 top 03 teams in the metro will be on the same ice. Expect Orange to come out on top**

When talking about 8-9 year olds, nothing can be "expected". Both Blades and MG have good little players. Aspen could be a wild card, who knows how good they are. It will be fun to see them all play against each other. [/quote]

The Battle to End all Battles!!!! People are already camping out at the rink to get good seatsHockeyDad41 wrote:Anyone know anything about the Aspen Avalanche? I tried Google, but came up empty.
Should be a good battle at the 03 level. Orange and Blades did about the same in Winnipeg, and MG has been competitive with the Blades, so it should be fun to watch.

Enjoy sitting in the rink all day watching B Level hockey

Wow yep try and stir the pot up a bit 2112.... Dangled on by the aspen....um no....aspen goalie made a lot of great saves and play was consistently in the aspen end. Factually all three lines played on the power play and contributed over the weekend. In addition players from all three lines played on PK. The MG 03 team is not a one trick pony... Someone threatened that another program is able to compete with the fabled orange?

Not stirring anything just merely stating an observation, try growing a thicker skin . I can`t believe you would throw your goalie under the bus like that, i thought the goaltending was solid over the weekend and kept the Gold in games and gave them a chance to win. I heard some grumblings from parents about playing time, just saying.

How is aspen goalie playing amazing throwing our goalies under the bus? They did play solid. You are entitled to your opinion but at least try and be factual. As stated previously many of the kids played on Pp and PK. The first line did get more opportunities, of which said coaches son does not play on.... May be an observation but your comment Insinuates he played on PP only because he is coaches son.
