missing White Bear players
Re: Klammer
Ryan Stutz was the other transfer from Centennial to White Bear. This was in the 2000-2001 season.

Re: klammer
klammer was never kicked off of centennial.. he left to graduate on time i believe because of some personal things going on his freshman and sophmore year so ive been told by centennial coaching staff themselves

Tyler Hiens
The reason another goalie that was already rostered with a junior gold team didn't get pulled up was because I believe once you are rostered in another league you cannot play for your high school once the rosters have been sent in

Since Tyler wasn't playing for a team through USA Hockey he was the next option for there goaltender

Re: Tyler Hiens
It just kind of bothers me since he got such a bad attitude about being on U16 and just went out and quit instead of sticking it out and now he is rewarded with a spot on JV.

Re: Tyler Hiens
Just what White Bear doesn't need - another quitter added to the team.

I was just wondering ,wbmd, what is the nicest thing you can say about White Bear?

Re: Tyler Hiens
easty-Rosters are not finalized until Dec 31th. A player can move up to that date.

Re: Tyler Hiens
But MSHSL rules are different than USA Hockey. You cannot play for a non-school team once the first day of practice starts. Exceptions are made for "Olympic development" teams, which is why once in a while you see a kid go play with the USA national team in juniors during the Christmas holiday, though HS players on that team are few.

hockeydad

I believe your example is a bit different then what easyt stated.
Quote:
The reason another goalie that was already rostered with a junior gold team didn't get pulled up was because I believe once you are rostered in another league you cannot play for your high school once the rosters have been sent in

I know of a couple 9th grade kids that quit a bantam team (personal reasons) and went to play for the HS JV team. This was okay to do, after they were taken off the roster for the bantam team and added to the HS roster before Dec 31th.

What your saying is more geared to playing for a AAA Midget or Junior team while still playing for your local HS. I believe that Josh Turnbull from Duluth East, started playing for a Junior B team until HS started, will play for Duluth East, then return to his Junior B team in time for the Junior B play offs.
