Warroad (5-1) @ East Grand Forks (4-0-1) 12-14-12 7:30pm
The Warriors travel almost 150 miles to just East of the ND border on Friday for a huge battle for the early lead in section 8A. This will be the Green Wave's first home game of the season and Warroad's 5th road game in a row. Both teams recently shut out a common opponent so this should be a very exciting game...

Thats a good point, so lots of battles in the near future. The young crop for Warroad has 2 of their top scores as sophomores in Roth and Bethune. They were able to make it to the VFW State Tournament for the first time last winter in about 7 years for Warroad. I know EGF was a win away from a MAHA championship as well, so this group should know each other well and should be fun to watch for the next few years!Deathblow wrote:mn miracle man wrote:Warroad 3

Warroad could surprise some teams this year with their youth.
A lot of EGF's best players are sophomores and freshman...Tweten, Ausmus, Loven, Bowen...
