Saints – They have shown the most improvement because they’re finally starting to work as a team. Once the other teams figure out team play wins games they might fall down a place or two.
Wild - Have relied on good goal tending and their physical play, but still are just not getting enough good play from their Pee Wees.
North Stars. – This is my sleeper team. They have the best of the Orange players that are just carrying this team. Once the others pick up their play they will contend for the top spot.
Moose – continue to play selfishly and don’t pass the puck. Average only a couple of D to D pass per game and forwards continue to struggle moving the puck too. Pass the puck and you can win some more games!

1st time poster. Not sure if information in this post is all sarcastic or not. Hard for me to judge.
I am a parent of a 1st year Squirt playing at the A level in a south metro association. I was interested in level of Super Squirt league play. (First off--Super Squirt name needs to change---stupid). I have seen multiple Squirt A games this season including 6 of the top ten teams listed.
I watched about 3/4 of the two games played in league this past Saturday. Here is my honest opinion on games and teams:
MOOSE vs. NORTH STARS: Fast paced game. A lot of physical play. (Kids much bigger than average squirt team). Moose ended up winning by a few goals in the end. Goaltenders were playing for other team? Game could have gone either way. Moose looked to have higher end talent.
SAINTS vs. WILD: Even Faster paced game. Less physical play than first game, but better passing (Saints moved puck well). Better flowing game than 1st game overall. Saints were down by 2 going into third. Saints ended up winning by 2. Big kid on Saints team scored 3 goals in third. Goalies again playing for other team? Saints were most fun to watch with best team play and best hockey plays.
Teams were pretty equal. Not many weak players. The overall speed of game is much faster than Squirt games that I have observed this season. Team play not exceptional, but better than most teams I have observed. Rosemount Squirt A team would be able to play with these teams. Not sure other Squirt teams would compete. My sons team would not do well.
Spoke with a Dad of player in Super squirt league on this date. He told me that multilple players from other top associations (Rosemount included) have been filling in at times. One playing on this date. Strange that this would occur. Wondering what they have to say about play level?

I havn't seen Rosemount yet they sound like a nice team. 1 st line on Blaie is very good. OMG and CC are other teams that are deep and play well together[good coaching I asume]. I saw Andover and was impressed I 'm curious as to what there record is. FL played WBL and I don't think they are as deep as OMG/BL/CC/AND, but very good. Will see Stillwater soon. I 'm still wondering about the kids up north. Rapids/Warroad/Bemidji/Yada Yada ???
