Shane Gersich verbally commits to North Dakota
Just read this. Congrats to an excellent hockey player. Very good 24 hrs for the Sioux. Very surprised he didn't end up at the U.

Wow!
2 uncles and a dad (I believe) played for the U. Props to the kid though for making his own decisions. Very very dynamic player.

Everyone has a little bad in themC-dad wrote:I didn't know he had a history of attacking guys in the handshake line or underage drinking.Carl Racki wrote:Great Kid, Great Choice!
Even as a Gopher fan I would not want to go there right now, it seems a little messy over in Gopher nation.
His style perfectly fits UND!

Just borrowing this post from the Poganski thread.MNHockeyFan wrote:Has to be even more disappointing for St. Cloud State!orm1210 wrote:Very disappointing the gophers could not pick this kid up. Very talented, plays the game hard, and overall seems to have a very good head on his shoulders. Hopefully he has a very successful college career and beyond that.
If missing Poganski is "disappointing" to the Huskies, I think there must be a stronger word for how the Gophers feel about missing Gersich.

Yes.
