Novak just had one of the nastiest goals I've seen in high school.

Show respect.

EDINA 9
St Thomas 2

St Thomas goalies have seen a combined 12 shots all year...it's going to be a pinball game out there in this one...EDINA big in a blowout.

Seriously. When was the last time you rooted for the Cadets? And they come through. Great game guys!

Both Lake conf teams go down today so all top teams have been beaten by others. Nice to have this level of competition.

What a goal by Novak! And great game by both squads...Zevnick played awesome. Benjamin had some nice saves too. But have to give the MVP to Zevnick and Novak - the kid had a great game.

Who would of thought two "Class A" teams in the semi's...!?!

Was it just me or was that the same kid withering in pain looking for a penalty at the end of the third?

not much of a hit. novak looked a little awkward on his edges and rode it into the boards. clearly he was just fine so the writhing in pain was a show to get a call

Maybe it looked worse than it was but he definitely hit the boards awkwardly.

So many haters.

Undefeated top ranked team goes down in OT and people are talking about a no call in the 3rd?

Guess you gotta find something to talk about if you don't like the result...

Would high pitched whining about private schools start here in this thread, or should an entirely new thread be started?

Oh, I'm sure it will be both.

Karma?
The kid faking a injury gets the game winner. Woudn't that be the opposite of karma?

But anyways did not get to see the game but sounds like it was a good defensive game and i hope the hornets can bounce back against some good teams in the back side of the bracket. and im very interested to see perhaps a Hill/STA rematch in the championship

How do you know he faked an injury if you didn't see the game?

i dont but from this conversation karma didn't make sense to me. The 1st quote says that was the same kid that was looking for a penalty and the next guy says karma so i went off that conversation.

You misunderstand. I'm still bitter about Henry Bouche.

Good loss for Edina, better to lose now instead of the end of the season...

Actually kind of glad, now they can't get the Schwan's Cup Curse!

And.......Novak's goal was filth.
