JV game is also being streamed right now.

Gonna be an interesting tilt in 7AA. CEC's top line vs. Rapids defense and goaltending is probably the biggest factor in this game.

Rapids doing a good job thru 2 to keep CEC's top line contained. Sheppard seeing a lot of shots but making big saves. Peterson with both of GR's goals. Only 1 penalty for each team.

GR up 2-1 after 2.

Should be a good 3rd period!

Nice job by CEC to bring the heat and tie with a couple min to go. Rapids looked like they went into defensive, non aggressive mode and let it slip away. As far as seedings go I don't think a tie does a whole lot for GR at this point, needed that W.

At this point I'm done worrying about seedings. GR just needs to focus on playing good hockey going into sections and take on the role of underdog and hopefully everyone will take them lightly. Cloquet looks like a different team since they switched goalies and switched up their top 2 lines. The Jacks looked very solid.

Totally agree! Typical Rapids team. Seem very content to let other team play keepaway when things get close.

I agree with this. For some reason that killer instinct is very lacking. You have a team down 2-1, outwork them to get that 3-1 lead and put the game away rather than just sit back hoping the clock will run out before they tie it. On one hand it seems like there is a lot of season left, but it's gonna get late in a hurry.
