North Dakota @ Minnesota
This is the last time these two teams will play each other in the foreseeable future other than maybe the playoffs. What are your predictions? I predict a gophers sweep in a 3-1 or 4-2 type of game both nights. I also predict that if any team sweeps that team goes on to win the WCHA title.

The Gophers have been downright dominant since their 4-4 tie with CC, the exception to that being Friday night last week against UAA. Surprisingly they've flourished without Haula in the lineup, and if he is to return this weekend to a Gophers team with good momentum going into WCHA play this weekend they have a great shot at a sweep on home ice.
Friday: Gophs 4-2
Saturday: Gophs 5-1

According to Lucia on his radio show, North Dakota will likely be back on the schedule in 3 years when Notre Dame gets dropped. He also said that if North Dakota wasn't fighting so hard and so long to keep the Fighting Sioux nickname that North Dakota would be on the schedule next year. According to NCAA policy, it's a violation of team and NCAA policy to schedule teams with Indian nicknames.
Since ND is a NCAA school, did other teams break the rules by scheduling them next yr? Who will the Gophers play in the NCAA championship game?clutterbuck22 wrote:According to Lucia on his radio show, North Dakota will likely be back on the schedule in 3 years when Notre Dame gets dropped. It was my understanding that this was a u of m policy. No gopher team can schedule a non conference game against a school who uses a Indian nickname.clutterbuck22 wrote:According to Lucia on his radio show, North Dakota will likely be back on the schedule in 3 years when Notre Dame gets dropped.
