A Note on the Maple Grove Situation

Over the past week, two attempts have been made to post an article with some alleged details about the incident involving the suspension of Maple Grove hockey players. This article was posted on a local blog and relies on Twitter messages and speculation from people who do not appear particularly close to the situation. Due to the questionable nature of these sources and several messages I have received disputing part or all of the account presented in the article, I have deleted the latest attempt to post this topic, and will continue to delete further attempts to do so.

Until a more reputable news source puts out more details, I suggest we avoid further speculation. We ought to walk a fine line when it comes to spreading rumors about high school students on the internet, to say nothing of compliance with the Data Privacy Act.
