Eligibility Rules

Post by bestpopcorn »

Aren't the eligibility rules strange?

A fellow can get caught shoplifting and nothing, unless he stole some beer and got caught drinking it.

On my son's team years ago one of the players on the ice would take the time to wave at his pregnant girlfriend sitting next to his teammate that was sitting out a few because he got caught chewing. As a parent, I would much rather deal with the chaw.

It is OK to knock up a 15 year old, just don't smoke afterwards...and make sure your grades are OK.

I am always amazed at how parents will go to bat for their kids. Fight it out in court so that Jr. remains eligible when Jr. should really stay home.

My kids were never worried about the schools eligibility rules.

They had to remain eligible with their mother and I.
