They were pretty much all back--no big names were missing.

3-0 Final; shots around 30-21.

That was one of the better games the Hounds have played recently. Contributions from up and down the roster despite Moore being out of the lineup, and Dylan Parker snapped out of his little funk and got his first shutout of the year.

What happened to Moore?? I know its just one game and one player, but he is a HUGE part of that team this year.

Gotcha, I heard that was a sketchy game, mostly due to some of the calls.. Also, I'm probably way late on asking this, But why is ER not on East schedule this season? I would have thought being in the same section , they would want a game like that? But yet SMA was added , for the first time... ever??

Elk River was forced to drop East last year due to some complicated scheduling issue involving Lake Conference teams, and apparently they couldn't work something out to get them back on this season. I hope they fix that next year. STMA is in 7AA now, which is why they're on there...it's a possible preview of the first round playoff game, as the Hounds will be playing either them or Cambridge.

The MSHSL, the NFHS, don't accept protests, period. Unless the covering official admits to a misapplication of the rule the call stands.

I believe the purpose was to make a general statement, and not to overturn any one call in a game the Hounds won anyway. The officiating in that game was subpar, and it affected both teams. No idea if it'll mean anything, but that was the gist of it.

maybe a video should be sent in on the last 25 years of having sections in duluth on home ice, maybe the mshsl needs to know, oh thats right no other place to play
