Edina v HM (Possible 3rd seed at State on the line) 2/2/13

Definite state implications in this game today. Both have tough sections to get through before anyone worries about state seedings, but both will be #1 seeds and therefore favorites to make it. Hill hasn't had a lot of success against the top teams this year, but I have a feeling they are going to sneak this one out...

I would hope that Eden Prairie has done enough to get the #1 seed in D2

My bad, I always forget the Girl's sections are different than the Boy's. EP, Benilde and Tonka all in the same section with Wayzata and Hopkins would be quite a section, but luckily for EP that isn't the case...

Not sure what we learned, as it ended in a 1-1 tie, however I would have to agree with D6, EP would be my choice for the 1 seed in 2AA, better record, better record common opponents, higher finish in their conference, how ever the two teams seem to be fairly evenly matched splitting the season series each posting identical 2-1 wins, with the home team winning each game, interesting note looking at the hub, the team that lead in shots in both games ended up losing?

Last year at this time this same person started a thread titled "1-28-2012 HM @ BSM for possibly #1 seed at state".

Those of us who are Minnetonka, EP, and Roseville fans can begin to tell you how thrilled we are that you've done it again!
