Eagan has 17 wins in last 18 games with clean sweeps of conference rivals Burnsville, Prior Lake and Jefferson.
Latest run of 7 straight wins includes wins over #15 Jefferson, #12 Prior Lake and a cinvincung 7-3 win over #10 Burnsville.
The Wildcats have now outshot every single opponent (except one) they have played through 3 periods this season, including their 3 losses , out shooting #5 Tonka 28-26, #1 Hill Murray 27-26 (lost in OT) and #17 Eastview 66-25.
Body of work is amongst the best in State, as are recent results.
Karl, Eagan has fallen twice in your rankings this year "through no fault of their own", so I am lobbying now for a well deserved bump in your next edition.

Thanks. It probably didn't help that my preseason rankings this year were less accurate than they have been in the past. At least I think I adjusted quickly enough.scorekeeper wrote:Nm. I see just now that you have already posted new rankings and we did get a bump. I have to say, I was skeptical at the start of the year, but your Rankings with substantive and thoughtful rationale are the hands-down best around. Thanks for doing them
On Eagan, if they win out, I don't foresee them dropping at all, no matter what happens in the Lake circus. And with Tonka having a very tough schedule, East showing the occasional tendency to play down to its competition, and Benilde facing some real questions, they'll have a real chance to move up, too. I'm very curious to see if Cretin will have any shot at them in sections.
