Just posted a game story on the 1AA finals played at Owatonna last night. It was a great geme to watch and the fans added to the excitement. I write these stories as a memory for the kids, coaches and patents involved.
A great game to watch between two good teams. It can be read at:

Article sounds good but failed to note all the cheap stick work by north. Game changed when north started slashing the top players every second and late in the second broke the thumb of the wildcats top D Gunderson and early in the third the top forward rasmussens wrist. Reminds me of the New Orleans saints bounty scandal which was punishable to players and coaches. By talking with south parents sounds like this is a common thing taught by coaches to win games at north.....too bad as they were outplayed.
From what I understand, North was call for more penalties during the game. In addition, with the score tied late in the third period, the Wildcats had a 5 on 3 for about a minute and 13 seconds plus a power play for the next 47 seconds and could not score. IF indeed this was the case, stop whining......the Wildcats had their chances and came up short.....!!!
