Who will take section 4AA this year? Will anyone stand in Blaine's way?

Wayzata will porbably be the toughest team but its always a surprize team in section 4aa i believe at this point its anyones game anoka although it doesnt show in the record can play with anyone in the section its all about what team shows up to play though and maple grove is tough its way tooo early injuries will happen players will come back its way too early but wayzata is without a doubt the early favorite

Wayzata doesn't stand a chance against Blaine! Correct me if im wrong but didnt Wayzata barely get by Moundsview on the F.S.N. game? And also didn't Blaine dominate Moundsview 8-2 in the holiday tournament? Wayzata is clearly not a favorite in my book!

Separate games, head2head is the only way of truely comparing teams. If you go by what you say, Sleepy Eye has won State the past three seasons. bauerhockey, if you're going to compare common opponents, then you need to look at Osseo, also. Wayzata beat Osseo 4-1. Osseo beat Blaine 2-1. I think Wayzata will win 4AA. Lee ____________ Message Board arsonist since 2005

I'd have to agree in saying Blaine is the favorite as of right now. From watching wayzata a few times, and seeing some of their scores, Blaine looks like the better of the two teams, but this section has a lot of decent to good teams that could make a move come section time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Blaine knock off a very good Centennial team???

bauerhockey40 - do your team a favor and show it on the ice and don't embarrass your team with some of your comments here. Blaine is a good team and I happened to see the game against MV and they were impressive. But it appears they have also lost some games to teams they shouldn't have. I would not say that they are going to walk through this section as this is always a tough section regardless of where the teams finish and who they have beaten. Come playoff time, it's anyone's game and this section has always shown that the obvious doesn't necessarily come out on top.

i mgonna have to say that blaine is the top team in this section despite an overtime loss to ER and a loss to osseo. they are rated gigher than wayzata and maole grove in lets play hockey and at minnhock.com

I hope it's Blaine, they have nice uniforms and haven't been to state for a while. The year they went they sure showed up.

Teams that choke on 4 goal leads to inferior teams in section semi-finals don't deserve to go to state. C'mon EREmpire, that was 6 years ago. Get over it.

The only way Elk River would be the best team in state is if they were in a girl's league or if they played in the Jr. Gold level where everyone plays cheap! So don't be mad that Elk River wasn't good enough in 2000!
