Let the discussion begin. Eden Prairie and Forest Lake wasn't even a game. Not sure if EP is playing that well or if FL was that overmatched. HM and Eagan played a pretty even game but HM was able to bury a bunch of good chances and won by a more convincing margin than the play of the game called for.
Eden Prairie and Hill-Murray played once in the regular season and skated to a 2-2 tie. I wasn't at that game so can't give any insight there. I would guess it will be a tight game with both teams having good chances and likely be another game destined for OT. I've really been impressed with the play fo HM for the past week although today was their worst effort in the last 4 games. I'll take HM 3-2 in 3 OTs over EP...

I'm glad those two teams won cause it provides for a more entertaining game. I'd give EP the edge, but I was impressed with Hill's balance. If EP doesn't win it this year than they look like the team of the future IMO.Sparlimb wrote:Let the discussion begin. Eden Prairie and Forest Lake wasn't even a game. It's so tough, because based on today, it's hard to understand how Forest Lake got to the tourney. I give EP's first line the edge, but H-M the slight edge on the next lines. The defense is close - slight (very slight) edge to EP, and the one area where i think there's a clear advantage in the net, where EP has experience and ability.
I think it will be close, and will stand by my predicted outcome, and I think it will be 3-2 Eden Prairie, maybe OT, maybe not.

Don't forget HM has only 2 seniors and 13/20 players are freshmen or sophmores...Nostalgic Nerd wrote:If EP doesn't win it this year than they look like the team of the future IMO.
I think Hill's goalie had better numbers than EP's. Not sure there is a clear advantage.D6 Girls Fan wrote:It's so tough, because based on today, it's hard to understand how Forest Lake got to the tourney. Advantage HM, not only did she win, but added an assist to boot. Probably the most underrated goalie in the statehemiman wrote:I think Hill's goalie had better numbers than EP's.
