Jail time for hockey coach

Post by 52cent »

A Vancouver PW coach received a sentence of 5 days in jail for tripping a player during a postgame handshake. Martin Tremblay swept out the leg of an opposing player during the hand shake ritual after the game. A 10-year-old and a 13-year-old player fell to the ice. This was caught on video and is on the internet. The 48-year-old coach pleaded guilty to one count of assault in November. The court Judge Patrick Chen gave Tremblay jail time, because he wasn't satisfied that time served in the community was enough to denounce or deter the man for his actions.

Good that a stories like this is publicized to help us all keep things in perspective.

What is the most dispicable thing done in a hockey rink that you know of ?

To start things off>

1. Violet parent - At a game in Staten Island a parent grabs his kids sticks off the bench, argues with the coach, crosschecks him in the face with the sticks and breaks the coaches nose.

2. Cowardly weak minded coach - Minnesota Made owner and coach forces one of his players to suck his thumb infront of his teammates and other onlookers during a team practice.

3. Drunk zamboni driver – Apple Valley man arrested for allegedly driving a zamboni drunk at a pee-wee hockey game.
