A Vancouver PW coach received a sentence of 5 days in jail for tripping a player during a postgame handshake. Martin Tremblay swept out the leg of an opposing player during the hand shake ritual after the game. A 10-year-old and a 13-year-old player fell to the ice. This was caught on video and is on the internet. The 48-year-old coach pleaded guilty to one count of assault in November. The court Judge Patrick Chen gave Tremblay jail time, because he wasn't satisfied that time served in the community was enough to denounce or deter the man for his actions.
