Looking at goalie stats for Centennial, Maple Grove, and Blaine, the Cougars actually look like the tougher team to score on. Blaine is clearly the weaker of the two teams between the pipes. That said, in both of MG's losses to Centennial they started the same goalie. Assuming MG goes with the hot goalie (currently with a 5 game win streak), Centennial has a tough night ahead of them offensively.

In My Humble Opinion

MG appears to be putting the offense together late in the season but obviously Centennial matches up with them pretty well. I'm going with MG in a 5-3 game with an open netter.

Key to the game...whoever shuts down the other teams top line.

Problem with this for Centennial (and Blaine) is that while MG has a top line, they get solid production three lines deep. Even 4 chips in their share. Next two games will be interesting for all three teams. Good luck to all.

Maple Grove is going ALL THE WAY! They will play some good hockey too. According to one of the players I know says they are more worried about Blaine game on Friday. Easy 6-2 victory is what I am hearing. See you at the fairgrounds...Go MG!

MG looked slow and confused last night. No puck movement, no sustained pressure, couldn't handle the puck. Centennial was the much better team.
