checking

I guess the game's moved towards incidental checking, and the hip check is allowed. But the reason I prefer the girls game over boys a bit is supposedly more of the finesse is kept. There's nothing wrong with a good solid check, but all to often it says to me they have to take them completely off the puck over the more difficult move of taking the puck off their stick. That is a personal preference. It was inevitable that it would go completely that with the boys, and to a degree with the girls. There should be a difference between that and trying to get your opponent away from your goalie. Any thoughts?

Edit: Another thing I've never understood is when people say they don't like the girls game because the boys are better. Well, duh, their physically stronger, but the comparison seem a mute point to me since they don't face each other.
