5AA Final: Centennial vs. Champlin Park

Post by gitter »

I apologize if there is already one going - I looked and didn't see it.

I guess everyone assumes Centennial is a shoe-in for the Xcel Center - which is what I thought too until I looked at their two games this year against Champlin:

12/6/12 - Centennial 3, Champlin 2
Shots were 60-23 Centennial according to MNHub

1/26/13 - Centennial 3, Champlin 3
Shots were 47-45 Centennial according to MNHub

I still think Centennial wins 4-1.

Now that's a title I didn't think I would be seeing.

I guess I'm a aider fan this Friday! Champlin 4-3

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the shots in those games are not accurate.

Curious question...Why does Centennials Munson not hand the referee the puck after making a save? He intentionally throws the puck to the ice after the whistle blows
