Hmm? My loss? East doesn't play until tomorrow.Morris Wanchuk wrote:On the third of the sabbath day slappathia predicted that your children would be offended by the blue wave in front of the cow plow. Your inwards made you afraid of the prophet Canadian of vast ability. You shunned their efforts and accomplishments throughout the years. The roosters have come home to roost. Now is the time to take your hat off and begin eating. Syd speaks the wisdom of the broken crow. The pee yellow river boys are making you pay for your cockiness and elite crap PLEASE BAN ME. Goodbye O-for-32. See ya later blues buddie!! Take a hike slappy! Enjoy the pee in your Cheerios Elliot!! Lee.... Sorry about your loss. Shady bunch finally comes through tonight!!

Had no dog in the 8AA final. Would have been sort of nice to see Brainerd finally make it to state but can't get past the fact of Archibald being their head coach. Too many flashbacks to when he "played" for North Dakota.

Solid game most of the way, although the big sheet appeared to favor Moorhead. The Warriors appeared to be trying to work the perimeter, which on Olympic ice is a fool's errand. Just appeared to run out of gas the last seven or eight minutes. Lots of lumber pounding the ice after officials calls, and a stick or two broken at the end of the game ~ that's hard to watch. I get the frustration and disappointment, but part of high school hockey is sportsmanship and respect for the game.
Nice year for Brainerd! They should be proud.

Thats a bit understated....
A stick or two.....Try three broken sticks and the middle finger to the Spuds by Brainerd hockey players during the awards presentation.....Total lack of class is more like it.Puckguy19 wrote:Solid game most of the way, although the big sheet appeared to favor Moorhead. I feel sorry for the fans and other Brainerd players who showed class and had to watch their teammates act like toddlers with temper tantrums. This is a direct reflection of their head coach classless.
Thats Mr. Potatohead to you!

Saw that, too - That's about all you can expect from an advocate and promoter of goon hockey that he learned from Dean Blais while playing for the "Fighting Who ?"

Re: The resurrection of the dead ... and the world to come
Well it appears the train barely stopped enough to fuel the fire in the engines and is still hurtling towards St. Pauly Town >>> The Shady Bunch arrives just in time to save the Spudnik Space Satellite from crashing to Earth and is ready to usher in a state title for the Moorhead faithful for its' first one in 14 treks to Pauly Town and 8th trek to the title game.Junior Samples wrote:and just so you know ... the train ain't stoppin' at nothing (including this Moorhead fan) on the way to St. Pauly Town!!Stitch Lips wrote:darn tootin' ... and word has it that ole Slipbobberelliott70 wrote:Video Scout gonna be there?just might make a cameo appearance for old times sake. In fact ... word on the street is that Bluesbuddy is firing up the "cow plow" and his puppy "poopy" will 'pull the train' through the drifts ~
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my wisdom upon all those willing to put up with my vision; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions, and finally your Moorhead Spuds will win the State Championship. --- Old Testement of Ice Hockey, Slappathiah, IX, 3
The Kiss of Death is the heir apparent whenever the Shadiest characters back the Great Pumpkin.
Notice the color of the engine in Junior Sample's picture of the squad running over their own fans.

what came around came around
Come and listen to a story about a team colored blue
A former fighting Sioux, kept 'em guessing with no clue,
Then one day he was confronted by some rams,
so he turned them into frightened little lambs,
ovine that is, green wool, tasty chops.
Well the first thing they built was muscle into steel,
Kinfolk said "These boys are for real"
Said "Xcel is the place you ought to be"
So they loaded up the bus and drove to St. Pauly.
Energy Center, that is. Fancy Suites, screaming fans.
Well now its time to say goodbye to Roseau and all their kin.
And we would like to thank them folks fer kindly droppin in.
You're all invited back again to this locality
when you get that seeded spot at good ole number three.
Bluesbuddy that is. Slapshooter style, Take your skates off.
Y'all come back now, y'hear?

No, Arch learned from Gino.
