DE has a fine team and will go to state. It is always difficult to beat DE but when combined with some very poor officiating it is impossible.
The non call on the hit from behind on Avery Peterson with about 8 minutes left in the game will leave us GR fans shaking our heads for a long time. And of course to make matters worse the 5 minute major on Horseman would not have happened because GR would have been on the power play.
The holding/hooking/interference non call on Holum in the closing minutes may have changed things as well. But it didn't happen.
Congrats to DE. As to the non-calls we'll just shake our heads and wonder what might have been. If there are no quality optical shops wherever the refs are from I will highly recommend Bonner Eye Clinic GR.
