Coaching Accountability

Post by 52cent »

Someone it seems had an issue with the thumb sucking in the Jail Time for Coach topic and it got locked up. If a coaches style includes berating kids to get them to respond they do it because they think it works. There needs to be accountabililty to the the families of the children they teach. If you agree with it, stand up for yourself, be loud and proud and tell people why the coaching philosophy works. Throw it out there for debate and maybe learn something. That's what this forum does.

Ken P's decision was debated for many pages of posts. Agree with it or not, he made a decision and is accountable to himself, his family, the player and his family, BSM, and the community at large.

If that was not the reason for the lock then this topic can be used to discuss coaching styles, good and bad. What works and what doesn't?
