Love the interview with the guy who played in the first state tournament!
Pretty cool. Can't imagine how much it's changed in 69 years.

Since I don't really feel like blasting this for the entire press box to hear...is he still going on about Brennan, or has he gone off into reading cookbooks and such?

He's been on topic and relentless. Wyden (D-OR) has joined the filibuster too, so I bet the group goes for a bit.

I am watching Sen. Rand Paul's filibuster instead of this game...

And I bet Sen. Paul lasts longer than this game.

I've checked on it several times today...The amazing thing to me is that he has been on topic every time I looked.

None of that reading the phone book stuff.

I wonder if it's ever happened where a team had one shot on goal and scored on it?

Sta are terrible fans

Post by grandmeadowhockeyfan »

Students start chant of consolation bracket when the opening puck is dropped.
Fans come slowly two at a time and take there time finding a seat while game is going on. Then comes two more. Fans cheer like they just won the state tourney after sixth goal of game early in second period. Real classy rich folks.

Wait how many goals is running time?

Does this thing have a shot to be over before the Gophers basketball game tips at 8?

And let's go EGF in the second game.

Same.

Last time I checked he was speaking of the Constitution and law enforcement training.

Law enforcement training? Sounds far more entertaining than what I'm watching right now.

I think the most amazing thing about it is that he has to stand the whole time otherwise he stands the chance of losing the floor.

Yep.

The X erupts after Apollo's first SOG with 1:34 to go in the 2nd.

The MSHSL should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves for allowing St Thomas and other privates to continue to play at the Class A level, this is ridiculous, get some b***s and do whats right.

I think that's right.

Not sure what STA does here. All of their lines move the puck so well that they're bound to get chances. Are they not supposed to shoot? Apart from the fact that they shouldn't be playing at this level, I wonder what the decorum is.

Great job Cadets! Looking good out there! Don't let up, Apollo is sneaky good and the 3rd period is when they strike!

I just wish the other teams in Class A could figure out your magic formula for success.

They're in class AA next year. So it's already done.

Though I share your sentiment regarding STA, with the team of younguns that Apollo has on the ice tonight, Duluth Marshall may well be stomping them.

Tends to happen when any team overachieves in the playoffs.
