Class AA Ticket Question at Xcel

Post by edinahornet2004 »

How early do you have to line up at the Xcel Energy Center Box office before the game to get a ticket guaranteed? I know the lines are long. Any advice?

Don't know...I buy from the street vendors.

If you're not picky, you can probably pick up a ticket for near or at face value once the 6:00 hour hits.

Tickets go on sale at 5, but I'd recommend being in line before then. It's long but it moves, and I don't think I've heard of them turning people away.

tickets

I'm not picky at all. I just don't want to pay to much over face value. Where do most of the scalpers with decent deals hang out down there? Anyone that wants to unload some tickets let me know where you'll be down by the Xcel and I'll buy them off you.

Go to the Rice Street / Ordway entrance (near Herb Brooks statue)

I paid $25 for lower level last night

The line for tickets yestreday was long for night session by 3:45pm.

paying $8 over face value was way better than standing in line for 2+ hours

Alright. Thanks for the tip man. I'll try outside the Ordway and see what I can score.

Thursday evening I got to the box office at 6:00. There were no lines, and 10 windows open. Upper level seats were still available.

Good thing I didn't get in line at 3:45.
