Story of the season for Edina has been can they bury their scoring chances? if so, they should win.

In championship games, the teams are a mirror image:

Edina (7-3) *
Hill-Murray (3-7)

* Does not include Edina East

Yikes, the Hill-Murray student section cannot carry a tune. They were singing a measure off from the entire band throughout the national anthem.

Lechner will have more time next year recruiting a band. A powerhouse music program in no time

Edina running circles around the Pioneer D. If this keeps up for another 2 periods, this game will be a blowout win for Edina. Hills D seem so slow compared to these Edina forwards.

Edina FAR superior team in this game. This one will get out of hand quickly. Looks like a college team against a high school team

Yeah, Edina is literally skating around HM.

Makes me wonder where their heads are...

Edina has played awfully reckless with a 3-1 lead. Seems like Hill's about to score.

If Edina gets the next one it'll be out of reach. Tonight might not be the Pioneers night. Sometimes in these games that's the only reason you lose. Two good teams for sure.
Be kind. Rewind.

Yeah, Hill has had a lot of chances over the last few minutes, but can't quite seem to get anything to click. Benjamin is certainly having his best period of the tourney right now.

If Hill loses it not because they didn't spend enough money

Uh oh 2 goal lead. Not a good sign for hornets (i.e. STA v. Hermantown)

Sure, just slide them into the spot vacated by STA.

Hill plays a lot better in the second half of that 2nd period. But then the same play that doomed them in last years championship game happens and Edina gets a breakaway goal.

Hill is going to need something special in this 3rd period to try and steal it. Edina just needs to play smart and they should have this thing.

Edina in lockdown mode this period. Great forechecking and clogging of the neutral zone. It's not very pretty, but it sure is effective.
