Does anyone have an opinion as to the value of playing on a team in the Toronto College Cup event? This year it is May 3-5.
The total costs involved per family runs close to $1900, if travel costs are
$800 - more or less if not.
This is quite a chunk of $ to spend for three days of attending what is marketed as a heavily scouted event.
Any opinions as to its value to a Minnesota 16, 17, or 18-year old?
Anyone with personal experience? Thanks.

A COLLEGE event in CANADA is pretty much all you need to read to understand this is not a good investment.
Personally, I would take half of that money, use it on NAHL and USHL tryouts to 1. get your name out there to junior coaches 2. get a feel for what the next level is like and 3. play some good hockey over numerous weekends instead of just 1.
