The Blades and Machine are taking over. C'mon Legacy, LSS, Euro, Edge, and Icemen, the other guys need hope!

Enjoy,

I don't know how you don't have '02 Machine Black in the top 5.

In the Stars and Stripes:

'02 Machine Black (Blues) beat Euro Red 5-2.

The org. from St. Louis backed out at virtually every level and MB filled in quite admirably.

Knew this was coming. Thanks for the check and balance.

My response is simple. Had a team called the Machine Black entered the tournament, wore Machine Black jerseys and Machine Black socks...we'd have gladly ranked them into our T5.

The Blues had a great tournament. Having run a few tournaments, losing teams last minute is a royal pain.

The MB is always a tough group to qualify...especially at this birth year.

Well that's just symbolism over substance!!

This weekend was the best true gauge of their strength as the '02 Orange were in the same tournament. The Blues were the Machine Black w/o any Orange players being rotated into the line-up.

Probably the only time where they can be assessed as just the Machine Black and they thumped Euro Red (but were walked in running time by the Orange).

In this case they played for the name on the back of the jersey instead of the name on the front of the jersey.

Couldn't agree more. Like I said, had they entered as MB...game on, they'd be in our rankings.

Please explain why they didn't just enter as MB?

Simple question...hoping for a simple answer. Seems as though the Tournament Director had enough pull to make that happen...it was their tournament.

So if they aren't listed as Machine Black and they won as the Blues, how could YHH possible rank them. If the Machine Black was the Machine Black and they were a top 5 '02 team, then why aren't they just entered into the Elite field and be done with it? A couple years ago a Black team beat an Orange team in a tournament.

Makes no sense.

I am only guessing here as I have no inside knowledge, but I would suspect that while the 02 Blues team performed well, a look at the other levels and they were not quite as competetive.....
