Speaking of Scorekeeper, shouldn't Jesse Gabrielle be listed on the not returning list for 2013-14?

WHL Camps

Ty Thompson 97' to Portland's invite this week and if not signed to Regina camp the next week. He is another kid that would not have had this chance without Yuro's coaching!

Yes that Ty Thompson. Can you believe it a 6"5' frame that can skate gets a try out????? But his point total was low.... But ..... But.....
But he is 6'5" and thanks to Yuro can move on the ice. But what if he doesn't make it.... Who frigging cares, he is 16 and is getting a lot of attention!!!

Wasn't hacking on him at all, I was just curious if that is who you meant. Good for him and best of luck.

No worries, I was surprised as well. He has worked very hard this last year, I told him nothing but good can come from attending these camps.

6'5"? Might as well stop over at the Portland Trailblazer's headquarters while you're there.

Ding dang basketball types are trying to take over our Hockey...

“@SteveEwen: #WHL D Tyler Nanne has left Giants training camp and returned to Minnesota. Word is Lou Nanne's grandson wants to finish Grade 12 at home.”

Will Nanne play D all this year then? If he stays at Edina, he'll need a year of juniors before the Gophers.

When did Tyler get an offer from the Gophers?

Can you link to the tweet? I can't seem to find it. I knew that Passolt was at camp, didn't know he was going to sign.

I was looking as well. I did find a WHL forum that said Passolt had been reassigned:

http://whlforum.com/thread/588

But the Pre-season roster doesn't have him listed.

Yeah, "reassigned" makes me believe he DIDN'T make the team.

Here he is listed as a cut.

Appears to now be on the pre-season roster.

The upshot of all this is that there wasn't much in the way of departures for north of the border. One possible exception is just one more kid jumping off the sinking MG ship.
