Elite League up and Running - Top 10 Scorers and... ####

Post by Granttenn »

:)

Yes we have Hockey in MN again!.. Great to see the Elite League up and running. SE looks like team to beat so far. Only team going 2-0 and putting up 12 Goals while NE, NW, & SW each put up 10 followed by GP (7) & North and Wisc. with (5)..

Top 10 scorers are listed below - Actually there were 14 players with 3 points - which would tie them for 6th - the league site just arbitrarily cut the list off after 10 kids, but to be fair, I actually listed them all, so it turned into a more of a top 19 list...

As far as HS teams represented? A shout out to the boys in green from Hill Murray as all four F's put up at least 3 pts led by Willie Brown with 4 and a hat trick in the tough 7-6 nightcap win over NE (WBL's Jake Wahlin also had Htrick for NE),... Only 1 other team has more than 1 player on list below and that was Holy Family with two - Will Garin and John Peterson. Since Hill Murray beat out Burnsville in Forum poll as team with best top end talent for upcoming season i'm just saying...... Suprisingly the big 3 from B'ville (Sheehy, Boesner, Borchardt) are MIA from list below...Yes I know it's early....

Also nice to see youngster (So.) and non-media darling Nick Swaney from Lakeville South leading the way with 4 goals.... Anyone know much about Jack Suter from the Rampage. I see he had 5 pts in first 2 games last year as well but then team dropped out.. I heard he may be going to Corpus Christi of NAHL but nothing beyond that..
