Duluth is still looking for three teams to fill the tournament. Where are all of the Northern teams most teams in it are from the Southern part of the state.

Money.

I can't speak for all of them, but I have a suspicion that since this tourney will cost over a grand to get in (after the gate fee is added up) it just cost too much for most northern associations to dole out at the squirt B level. There are at least a dozen other northern tournaments that run around half the cost or less. Many with more teams.

This is the most expensive squirt B tournament in NE Minnesota.

PuckRanger, I know what you mean all the tournaments are getting to expensive I look at White Bear with gate fees it is $1.200 of course they only invite the elite teams. Gate fees are a certain amount and when alot of B teams only carry 12 players that is $25 dollars a player on top of the tournament cost. We go to 5 tourney's so that is an additional $125 incurred by parents.
