Courious what district 3 will be doing with its 2 'AA' bantam teams, play in districts with the single A teams? Or what?

Since the whole point of the AA/A is post season. The two AA's would not play in the District A tournament. AA will have a seeding process to set up the four regions this year.

Why play each other during the regular season and then be separated for the playoffs?

That was the purpose of the split. It was suppose to allow the small associations top teams to have a chance to get to state.

They play eachother in a best of 3 series to see who gets the 1 seed. Games will matter since regions is based of rankings this year.

They both opted to go to District 6 this year but were turned down as District 6 preferred to have Owatonna.

Just as interesting is 4 Associations not playing A Bantams, but placing their top team at B1.

Nothing much really change then in District 3 ?
