Both have solid goaltending and defense. Eden Prairie has more power up front so I'll take them 4-2

Jags win, they were unstoppable in the mid 90's.

EP. Spinner is a beast. Snuggerud on the back end is one of states best d-men.

Should be a good one. 5-3 EP.

Went to the game...EP was up 3-1 with a couple minutes left, when we left.

First 2 periods EP controlled the play and dominated...But only scored on PP's....I thought Jefferson looked way out of synch and did really even have a lot of shots through 2, maybe 8?? Did get a breakaway and scored though to make it 2-1 after 2...

Jefferson's goalie, Martens did a great job and made some very nice saves..But Jefferson also did a very good job of blocking shots and clogging up the middle - making it tough for EP in to get inside good opportunities and just seem to be hanging on through 2 periods. The Jags didn't pass well or look good. EP was in total control, but couldn't close, outside of the Power Plays

3rd period was different. Jefferson had a couple PP's and a 3 on 5 and really had some nice chances, but came up short and seem to play much better. Gerdes had some nice saves during the PP's as well. Jefferson played with more confidence and seem to even the table,,,But EP was too strong and scored the 3rd goal and closed it out..

The mid 90s were 20 years ago. The kids playing today weren't born then!

Side note: Home games atmosphere at the EP rink seem almost boring..Again, small student section - not loud at all, not really a engerized crowd..It was like watching a scrimmage..No energy in that place.

Wasn't at this game, but I have noticed that in the past. I have noticed that the student section only is loud for games against rivals say Edina, or Benilde. Last year I went to the BSM and HF games, and they were the loudest I have ever heard in the EPCC. However, also went to the Prior Lake game and it was disappointing.

I probably shouldn't have left with 3 mins to go. Final says 4-2 EP. Jefferson made it a 3-2 game and then EP scored with a minute left.
