Old tradition as in waving $20 bills at the opposing fans?
Or perhaps some of those old chants and songs...I hope kniven has a good crowd mic.
Who could forget the classic of 2006 Semifinals:
East fans flipping off Cloquet/Rapids/Elks fans after they knew their season was over.
My memories of the aftermath of that game involve a Rapids mom heading straight into the East student section to taunt high school kids.
This rivalry really brings out the class in everyone, doesn't it?

Haha, yea. Gotta love the hate that goes back and forth. I think we've all had moments of taking it too far. I sure hope Cloquet gives us a good game and atmosphere. I was really disappointed in the semi-final clash last year. Seemed really dead in the arena.

I'm not getting much either. Thankfully, this is on AM 1490 in the Duluth area.

Yeah, pretty bad here in the south metro. Plays for 10 seconds then freezes. Was looking forward to watching.

2-0 East after one. Nick Altmann (PP) and Bryton Lutzka on the goals.
Shots 15-11 East. CEC has some PP time carrying over to the 2nd.

East up 3-1 after 2. Klatt scored for the Jacks, Crist for the Hounds. Much better period by Cloquet. East also moved Beaulieu back to defense that period.

East wins 3-2. Cloquet dominated the 3rd period, but could only get one past Howg.
Not the prettiest effort for East, but give the Jacks credit for coming to play. The closeness has to be encouraging for them.
All four games East has played have ended with 3-2 scores.

Sorry the stream didn't turn out. I always do things the same. I guess there are some things I can't control.

Wow East looked pretty shaky and played pretty bad in this one. Randolph is probably livid. Props to cloquet for putting up a good fight.
DE could've "easily" won state the last 5 years.
