Edina (5-2-0) vs Eden Prairie (7-0-0)

Post by hshockeyfan8 »

Title game of the Edina Classic. When this is the championship game, it is harder to find a more entertaining game during the regular season. Can the Hornets repeat history, or will the Eagles keep their hot start going? I'll take EP, 5-3.

EP 3-2 Edina put the physical hurt on ER tonight and got their revenge win. EP coasted V Rapids. That spells out a EP win.

EP is too strong for the Hornets in this one. 6-2 EP

I have to disagree, Edina is Edina. This will be a good game but I think Edina comes out on top. Maybe by 2

I would like to see EP win this....but the long history says Edina....Edina usually wins this game.......5-2 Edina.

Edina won 2 out 3 match-ups with EP last season - Including this Holiday Tourney last year, but I am still gonna go with EP 6-2 on a payback game. Either way it should be fun to watch.

Don't know if this is true or not, but I just heard that Edina is 22-1 in this game

Now 23-1 in all Holiday Classic games since '06

Musta' been the fault of those dam home ice refs who gave EP one penalty for 2 minutes while only giving Edina 6 for 15.

No fault to pass on to the cake refs. They weren't needed last night against EP. Saving them and some gem calls for section games.

Good point nuts. They must have won state last year (and ten other years) because of the calls. After all, refs love Edina. Talent is irrelevant.

I'm sure last years Jefferson players and parents agree with this comment based on some calls in the section meeting.

Still can't get over the outright stealing away of that game by the stripes. Worst I've ever seen.

Please explain what is meant by this idiotic comment. "Braemar" which is an arena has nothing to do with officiating - simply provides a place to play. The officials are provided by the MSHSL.

I believe all the comments you quote are meant to be sarcastic.
