If I remember correctly last year Cretin won this game and the result was quite the shocker. This year it looks like Cretin is better, but I'd still be surprised if they can beat the Hornets. I'm guessing Edina wins 6-2.

Last year was 4-3 Edina
Yeah, my memory must be bad. Cretin last beat Edina on January 25, 2011. I guess I was just remembering that Cretin was winning and Edina had to come back. It was 2-0 Cretin after the first. Cretin then extended the lead to 3-0 before Edina scored to make it 3-1 after two. Edina tied it up in the 3rd and then won the game in overtime.
This is one of those could be 9-1 blowouts for Edina because they play to their capability or they come in already looking past CDH and play a slower paced game against a team not as good as the last 8 games they've played in the last 2 weeks and CDH hangs around and who knows what can happen. So I have 2 predictions
I seem remember that game being pivotal for Edina. A loss at home vs. a weaker than usual CDH squad cudda sent Edina into a slump. top line was benched through regulation, allowing others to spark the rally.
I finally found the right twitter feeds. I'm really bad at this technology stuff. Looks like Edina's going to win this one easily. 2-0 in the first with goals by Bellows and Fidler.
