Is there a live stream of this game? I wish every game was live streamed so that I could watch more games.

Looks like ifan.tv is carrying it for those of you who won't be making the trek to the Heritage Center tonight.

I say East 6-2 in this one.
I was way off on this one. Blaine played really well tonight.

Great offense vs. defense match-up here. I'd be surprised to see the Hounds score 5 or 6 goals since they haven't exactly been an offensive juggernaut against teams not named Grand Rapids. It's probably in their best interest to keep this a low-scoring game, but I sure wouldn't complain if they scored 5 or 6.

Final- Blaine- 5 DE-2
Ugly loss. East was just flat tonight and Blaine came out and played with intensity. It was fun to watch Blaine tonight though, they are a really dangerous team. Very intense and fast paced and they really know how to score.
Randolph is probably livid.

DE could've "easily" won state the last 5 years.

With some losses, you can sit there and dissect little things for hours. Sometimes, one team is just better in every facet. This was one of the latter. Blaine marched right in, took control, and never looked back. Great puck movement, and they blocked a lot of shots and had great energy all night. By the late 2nd it looked like the wheels were falling off for East, but they came out and at least played a respectable 3rd period without any dumb penalties.
Not a bad wake-up call at this point in the season, though they just lost any control they might have had over their own destiny for the top seed in 7AA.
The East kids should have fun in practice tomorrow.

Blaine was the better team. Blaine's first line was much better than East's first line. The other lines matched up better. Blaine is a very solid team and when their first line is clicking they can be very good.
East has to get its first line scoring more, if they are to compete down the stretch.
I was proud of East for not quitting. Unlike GR vs East where GR gave up in the 3rd, East kept working hard the whole game.
