Greenway 2, North Shore 1. Greenway finally gets another win. They have dramatically improved defensively. The defensemen are making much better decisions then they were earlier in the year. Certainly no threat to the upper tier of teams in Section 7A but could compete with the rest.

Lakeville North 5
Burnsville 4
Final (OT)

North overcame an early 3-0 deficit to pull this one off. The Poehlings sure are fun to watch.

Apple Valley 5
Prior Lake 2
Final

Big week for the Eagles; bipolar week for the Lakers.

Mounds View 5 White Bear 2

Looks like Sager and his boys will lose five in a row with Hermantown and Grand Rapids up next.

It took North OT to beat Karl's #3 team while East handled a 3 win Apple Valley team by a goal. No way North holds on to the #5 spot, going 3-0 against teams in the top 4 is clearly unacceptable for a 1AA team, I 'd put the Panthers at no better than # 12 after this week. North would be lucky to get a #5 seed in 7AA.

Tongue in cheek if course but if this isn't another big win I don't know what else North can do.

WBMD-Do you honestly only post negative things on this board about WBL?

I have only read posts from you that involve WBL, and they are always negative, and this has been going on for years.

Whats your deal?

I just state my opinions - that's what my deal is!

Also to drive readers like you nuts.

With more to come - as long as Sager is behind the bench.

After the Bears' loss to Mounds View, Sager must have really did some butt chewing throughout the week to help White Bear top both Hermantown and Grand Rapids.
