Hermantown at Grand Rapids

The knee to knee was uncalled for but I don’t believe it was intentional just a kid reaching for a play on a player much quicker than they are or just totally beat.

The boarding penalty was as much Avery's fault as the player being penalized. He saw him coming and turned his back on him. If I was the ref I would have sent Peterson to the box for 5/10/game misconduct simply for pulling a stupid play like that and given the Hermantown player a 2:00 min charging. Nothing cheap about it.

As for the game. Rapids out played HAHA. Great job on the coaching staff of the T-Hawks. Great forecheck.

I would like to see how the poor ref is walking today after being taken down twice in the period!!!

Give me a break!! Even when they target Peterson they can't keep him down. He was out muscling Hermantown all night.

Guys I wasnt trying to take anything away from the way GR played last night. Avery is a beast, in a good way. I just felt what I saw was he turned as the guy came at him. Its the one thing I hate about the new rule. Players are putting themselves in harms way to draw the 5 min.
