I don't know what you're talking about. If you think this game will be anything but an 8-1 blowout, you don't know a thing about Minnesota high school hockey.

Gotta go with Eden Prairie to pull out a 4-3 victory in this one...

Spinner and Naas with two goals each.

Maybe if EP added a pair of D that actually play defense they could pull this one out 4-3 but I'll take BSM 5-2 (EN) with Naas showing why he is the best of the Mr. Hockey finalists on the ice. Should be a good game to watch are they webcasting this early one?

According to their schedule, psbmn.com is doing the webcast.

Someone is going to win 6-3...I haven't figured out yet which team. Will post who late in the third. Big game with some 6AA implications.

Game pretty much over - EP leads 5-1 with just over 10 minutes left. BSM's slide continues...

FINAL: EP wins 5-2, might as well have been 8-1...

Also looked at the penalties, was there a fight in the 3rd?

depends on which parent was taking the stats  counts of shots on goal have been questionable in many EP games this year.

I was at todays game and thought EPs goalie played a very nice game today but thought shots were closer to 30.

Is EPs defense so poor they allowed 45 shots? if so, I don't see Mr Hockey material there!

If Benilde only scored 2 goals on 45 shots I don't see "Mr Hockey material" there either!

Sort of...from my vantage point it went like this:

BSMs #8 Ran the EP goalie....EP's #4 took issue with BSMs #8 and clobbered him. BSMs #11 and #4 decided to do some pushing because EP's #4 was pushing....next thing you know, EP's #4 was on top of BSMs mild mannered #9 throwing a barrage of punches. Couple of Mr. Hockey finalists got penalty time, plus a few others had to sit. Actually a good trade for EP in a game that could have tightened quickly --- EP #4 got a double minor, but took off BSM's #8, #4, and #11. BSMs #8 could have received another minor as on his way to the box he landed a solid right hook to the EP goalie (who appeared to be 'chirping' him as he skated by).
