1. Wayzata- Most top-end talent, good goaltending, know how to win
2. EP- Best player in section, depth, good goaltending
3. BSM- Some top end skill, but I don't think they're that deep. Also, don't know what to expect between the pipes
4. Tonka- Goaltending. Good coaching
5. HF- Great goaltending, and a few top end players. No depth.

Wayzata on paper is the top team not only in section but in state. Another good crop of sophomores coming in this year.

EP has high end talent and also loaded with upper classmen and you can make a case you win state titles with seniors.

BSM is probably third and flying under the radar so watch out. Goaltending is a question mark and they will need their returning sophomores and new sophomores contribute.

Just looked at Tonka's roster - I don't think they've ever had a team this young under Urick. Only 3 seniors I think 8 So and 1 Fr. If the Jr. class is worth anything it could bode well for next season.

This section is a mess right now. Wayzata as of now is a clear 1 seed. After that I'd have to give HF the 2 seed as of now. I don't know what to do with 3-5, as I would have a hard time putting a .500 team (Tonka) 2 seeds ahead of a team who is 9-4 right now (Eden Prairie). But, Tonka beat BSM and BSM beat EP. Still lots of games to figure this out: EP vs. BSM (2), Wayzata vs Tonka (2), EP vs Tonka (2) and EP vs Wayzata (2). Should be an exciting finish for this section.

If Holy Family drops a game this week, possibly to Moorhead, would that be enough for BSM to get the 3 seed despite the head-to-head loss to HF?

This section is really pretty easy to seed. The only outlier game is Tonka beating BSM.

1) Wayzata - beat everyone in the section

2) Ep - beat BSM 2x, Lost to BSM, Beat Tonka 2x, Beat Hopkins, Lost to Wayzata 2x

3) HF - beat BSM, Hopkins and Tonka. Lost to Wayzata

4) BSM - beat Ep, Lost to Wayzata, Lost to Ep 2x, Lost to HF, Lost to Tonka

5) Hopkins - Beat Tonka 2x, Lost to Ep, Lost to Wayzata

6) Tonka - Beat BSM, lost to Wayzata 2x, Lost to HF, Lost to Ep 2x, lost to Hopkins 2x
