It may be past your bedtime but I ask you what is better? Sleep or the best of Minnesota High School Hockey? I'll say Minnesota High School Hockey EVERY time except church, which I never have to worry about! Because church is on Sunday, and like liquor stores Minnesota High School events are closed! Plus, I don't make it to church as often as I should. But enough about me.

Bloomington Kennedy won six straight before falling to a tough Burnsville team 5-3 last night. It was a hard fought effort lead by David Johnson's 41 saves, but it just wasn't enough. I heard there was some rumblings that the refs made many calls that went the Blaze way, but when the Eagles are out-shot 46-23, it's hard to believe any conspiracy theories from Kennedy.

Champlin Park had a three game winning "streak" going before they got smoked last Saturday by Blaine. Champlin Park has some talented snipers that could give Kennedy some trouble, so look for the Eagles to keep the shots at a minimum.

It was a barnburner! 3-3 was the final score, and what a game it was!

My buddy Abraham filmed the game, which you can watch here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iU83R7rpXQY
