I like the uniforms that stay fairly consistent every year and I agree with the poster that said it means more to put on the jersey that does not change every year or so.

The Edina Hornet is classic. The Hornet means something to the kids growing up and they do a good job displaying it on the jersey. The green pants though, not a fan.

Duluth East has great jerseys and similar to the Hornet the Greyhound is pretty sweet. Much better pants than Edina.

Warroad could be the best though.

BSM all RED are great.

But, if a team came out wearing Cooperall's they would jump to #1 without question.

Agreed. I vote for the Ely Timberwolves.

Agree 100%. One cool tradition that Jefferson used to have, might still, is that all of their jerseys would only say Jefferson on them, until you made the high school program and you are then a Jaguar and that it what the jerseys say. Another tradition like this is Roseau, where they wear red white and blue in youth and then green in High School.

Ely's cartoon Timberwolf is straight out of Loony Tunes. A brilliantly conceived emblem. There was a time in the 80s and 90s when Ely went to a more refined wolf that looked more like a dog - bad move.

I think the Duluth East black, Edina whites and classic Grand Rapids orange stand out. Why does Rapids mess around and not stick to the classic orange and white unis for home and away?? Every other uniform they come up with pales in comparison and might even be described as ugly.

Someone please explain to me the appeal of the Cloquet jersey/uniforms because I don't see it.

Burnsville should be disqualified from this "favorites" list thanks to their too-painful-to-look-at NASCAR-style mock-European warm-up [/quote]

As an ex Bville guy, I agree 100%.

EP has the same issue with their warm-up sweaters. Unbelievably ugly.

I like Jefferson jersey they wore in their outdoor game this year.

Benilde and Edina are always classy.

Believe it's Hermantown with the Navy ones with the AWFUL grey V-neck that are hard to look at come tourney time.

I think Hermantown finally got rid of those last year. Those were the ugliest things ever made.

The 3rd jerseys that Moorhead is wearing his year might cause some people to go blind.

Roseau's are great!

Ely's is alright, do like the wolf

Cloquet, classic. Hasn't changed since mid to late 70's...the lumberjack head that is.

Baby blues of Jefferson were SWEET!!!

Hermantown v neck were terrible.

The white Denfeld jerseys look nice

Their current jerseys are terrible but I really liked the old black WBL sweaters with the cursive writing across the front.

I agree the Bloomington Jefferson are the best in MN though.

I'm not a big fan of the Eden Prairie jerseys. They look a bit outdated.

Ever wonder why Duluth has a Greyhound and Hibbing has an anchor? A Cliff note in jersey history- Duluth's Greyhound was originally supposed to be Hibbing's mascot- home of Greyhound Bus (same logo). The Bluejackets was meant to be Duluth's- paying homage to the worlds largest inland port and its sea captains- otherwise known as Blue Jackets. A screw-up at the state back in the 30's when mascots were submitted for the newly built Hibbing High School resulted in the switcheroo that was never reversed. Worthless but interesting...

Here's my list...

Best
1. Jefferson - Not a fan of their new jerseys, though. They ruined a good thing when they got rid of the "Jaguars" script across the front.
2. Edina - Just a classic look.
3. Roseau - So clean. Such Tradition. Hard not to love it.
4. Duluth East - Big fan of that "Rangers" style.
5. White Bear Lake - Going out on a limb here, but I always like what they do. The whites that they've warn the last couple of years are pretty aggressive, but I like that they're different.

Worst
1. Rochester Lourdes - I've never seen a look from them that I like. They had some jerseys (maybe 7-8 years ago) that reminded me of the Phoenix Coyotes jerseys form back in the day. They were awful.
2. Stillwater - Worst logo in the MSHSL?
3. Robbinsdale Cooper - Never have been a fan of those colors
4. Holy Family - You'd think a rising private school could afford some nicer threads. However, that logo is tough to work with.
5. Lakeville South - Might be getting better, but from what I remember, it's hard not to improve on their jerseys.

1.Gotta go with East's Grey Unis as the best.
2. Warroad's with the warrior on front
3. Edina's are always classic
4. St. Cloud Cathedral are based off of Swedens old National Jerseys.
5. BSM's all red
6. Hill's with the Pioneer on front are always pleasing

Exactly Al. Worthless info that may, or may not be true. With that in mind Never, Cambridge Blue Jackets harken from Weyapiersenwah who was a war chief of the Shawnee people, known for his militant defense of Shawnee lands in the Ohio Country. How does that tie in to the little bedroom town of Cambridge? Evidently Weyapiersenwah had an affair with a Swedish woman and spent his summers courting his mistress on the banks of the mighty Rum River.

How do you this? It could be total BS but I'm buying it hook, line and sinker. Interesting stuff!!
