Congrats to Centennial. Coach Menne seems to get an awful lot out of his teams. Sounds like they played exactly the way they needed to play.

That's three straight big playoff disappointments for Blaine. Two fairly significant upsets (last year's being bigger than this year's), and the 15-1 debacle. They're probably not too sad to see the Coliseum go.

If Hill wins tonight, that should set up a Duluth East-Eden Prairie 4 vs. 5 game. Which would be awesome.

I wouldn't be so confident East will be seeded above Centennial. Common opponents is almost a wash. As far as head to head (most important factor, in my opinion) Centennial beat East during the regular season, but East had a tougher schedule.

Centennial also has 10 losses vs. East's 6, and East has a win over Eden Prairie, which has to be worth something, no?

Ponies win! An all public AA State! Oh, except for Duluth East, Edina and Eden Prairie.
