Thanks for the info.Deathblow wrote:Nah...he dressed most games this year...don't think he played. Didn't dress at the tournament. I think it was simply a reward for sticking with it...even though Lieberg and Weber were the clearly the top two goalies. Actually, I think there were two other senior goalies who didn't even try out because of goalie depth, but Gaasvig stuck it out.puckbreath wrote:Kid not on the varsity/dressed ?Deathblow wrote:Classy move by Oliver...gave his medal to 3rd string, senior goalie.
On a side note, I don't think Weber made an 'A' team until second year of Bantams...really worked hard to get where he is.

Ya but you will never know that feeling since you never made it to state...Cadets16 wrote:I actually do feel a little bad for Hermantown. There isn't much worse than getting the "loser's medal" after a tough loss. Felt the same way after the section final football game, sitting on the turf and feeling like you gave a game away after working so hard to get there. I can imagine it's 100x worse for a state final.
Actually, we have made it to state (most recently 2012-2013), and have a decent shot at it next year and the next year after. But this isn't a football forum, so what does it matter.statein07 wrote:Ya but you will never know that feeling since you never made it to state...Cadets16 wrote:I actually do feel a little bad for Hermantown.
