In regards to TR, I hear he's going to BSM.
I've heard otherwise....but I would be very surprised if he didn't since it would be in his best interest.

Either must have a weak AD or some very influental parents?
Parents more or less run that program, but I believe the head coach this year had his son on the team, looks like he only wanted to coach his senior season, Kotenbeutel was the coach and his son was leading scorer I believe.
Hockey Hub is wrong? They show Kotenbeutel as a junior.

What else is wrong so far as people talking about the Sauk Rapids situation? I don't know if I would trust any of it.

Kothenbeutel is a junior, but I've heard he's heading to juniors next season.

His father brought great stability to the program this year. They had a nice year after a very rocky few years.

New AD is in first year and seems to be trying to change the culture.

Good luck to all involved. Couldn't get any worse than it was a few years back.

I see why these schools would want this, having to play with STA, Hill, and even Mahtomedi for that matter.
Simley coach got fired, North St Paul coaches retired after 20 years, and the Sibley job was given to Corey who had more time.....so a coincidence.
Wha? Retried after 20 years? Man, I'm getting old. I remember when the last guy retired. Can't believe that was 20 years ago.

Anybody know much about Nate Peasley? I see that he played at Bethel up until 2007. Does he have more coaching experience than his one year as an assistant at North?

No, TR is a player transferring. May be different now with recent co-op of programs.

Prior to being Varsity Assistant, he was North's JV coach. He has been with the program since he finished at Bethel basically.

Peasly is facing a huge challenge. The former coash destroyed the youth program and was easily the worst coach I have ever seen. Played one line until they couldn't skate off the ice. Teams were undisciplined (a reflection of coachingj) and had no system. Their practices were a without purpose. Watching them practice (if you could call it that) the power play was painful. Not a very big pool of talent to draw from for Peasly. Also, the deomographics are changing and North St. Paul is following Richfield in its student body make-up.
